The terminally ill patients at hospitals across the world is also a huge passion of mine. It is hard to see patients at hospitals and know that some wont live to see their tenth birthday. One way you can help them is by going and giving just fifteen minuets of your time to just talking to one of these patients. Some of these patients are scared and would love to just have someone hold there hand and say hi to them. Others are to weak to talk but can still feel the presence of someone and the heat of the hand. I love being able to help people and make them as comfortable as I can.
One of the stories I would like to talk about is that of Bobbi Kristina Brown. This young beautiful girl was found unconscious in the bathtub of her house. This incident took place nearly three years to the day since her mother Whitney Huston was found dead in the same way. After Whitney's death Bobbi spiraled into a world of drugs. As of right now there is not much hope and that is why drug laws need to be more strongly enforced. Bobbi Kristina's grandmother said that at the moment there is not much hope. Right now she is still critical and in a coma. The other case I wish to talk about is the Esmond family case. This family was on vacation in the virgin islands when they fell ill on March 20 of this year. This family consists of both parents and two teenage sons. Police are investigating if a pesticides was the cause of this Delaware families illness. As of today the father is awake but unable to move and the two sons are both still in comas. The mother was released and continues to recover. This is a case of a beautiful family that just wanted some quality time together and then a tragedy happened. The US is looking in to see if the pesticide got sprayed to close for comfort or if this was just a tragic accident. It is a heartbreaking story regardless and I hope and pray to see the family recover in time.
